August 16, 2010 Montgomery AL  AMTREN announces plans for corporate restructuring that allows the AMTREN brand and FlexWriter CD DVD Disc Autoloading and Printing technology to continue as a part of GRAMER CORPORATION, a technology licensing firm. In June 2009, the Board of Directors of AMTREN CORPORATION agreed to cease all of AMTREN’S corporate operations until such time a product retooling could be completed and second a corporate restructuring could be accomplished with a separate company positioned to capitalize on the AMTREN brand and FlexWriter Disc Publisher technology. The recent tentative agreement in principle with GRAMER CORPORATION is structured to allow AMTREN/amtren.com to operate under license as an operating division.  A major portion of this restructuring focused on establishing an operational 3rd party legacy product support program and this has been successfully accomplished.  Moving forward, AMTREN’S FlexWriter Technology will be marketed under license in whole or in part providing the recently released Generation IV TowerMation(tm) modular autoloader as a commodity component to the entire market. In a structured agreement with AMTREN’S primary lender, a prerequisite to the GRAMER CORPORATION acquisition / operating agreement requires that a 4-6 month effort be placed focused on the liquidation of the approximately $500,000 in remaining product inventory.  With over 10,000 active end users operating the exact models that are scheduled to be liquidated, these customers will be the primary target for the planned no reserve auction. Existing customers can purchase back up or second systems for 5-15% of orginal sales prices, thus allowing these customers added value above the purchase of the liquated inventory.

This inventory liquidation program is scheduled to follow the recently completed launch of the legacy product support program.  During the last week of August, AMTREN will begin to sell off all remaining inventory on a first come first serve basis until everything is liquidated.  AMTREN installed a complete online auction package based on the GPL PHPAuction platform. All liquidated inventory will be auctioned through this online site. Customer satisfaction and postive feedback is a key component of the planned inventory liquidation auction and the success of this program will be determined by the customer satisfaction. Customer retention and satisfaction was a strength of AMTREN until the ill fated Generation III product release. AMTREN's current management team have targeted 100% customer satisfaction. The key managers of AMTREN's primary lender serve an active part of the current management team and offer 3rd party oversight as AMTREN endervours to regain it's reputation.

Legacy product repair and replacement part inventory has been allocated and warehoused to support the servicemyunit.com program.

During the chaos period from early 2009 to mid 2010 AMTREN left 26 customers stranded. Each of these customers will receive free replacement systems from the Generation III inventory liquidation. And when the TowerMation is realeased in 2011, each of these stranded customers will receive a free TowerMation system.

Once this inventory is liquidated, AMTREN will cease manufacturing the FlexWriter Brand of Disc Publishers and will focus entirely on providing core electro-mechanical auto loading and printing devices and escapements as a modular component to the TowerMation(tm) modular product concept.  AMTREN will use the vast technology experience gathered over these past 10 years and target making a volume market out of the niche market for CD-DVD Disc Publishers.

AMTREN’S reputation for its autoloader technology is clearly evident with nearly all systems sold since 2002 still in operation.
